Gratitude on Thanksgiving
I wanted to take a moment to pause and share my gratitude and thanks.
With all the demands in life and of work, it's so easy to get caught up in the daily hustle and bustle. So I wanted to hit the brakes for a moment.
What am I grateful for this year? I am grateful for my family, my friends, getting to do what I love. I am grateful for living in such a beautiful place with so much diversity.
It's been a very challenging year. Between getting settled into a new city and a new life, continuing to work and grow my practice and just navigating life, it is easy to sometimes feel defeated. And I have many times.
But I am here to tell you that the story goes on. It's how you face challenges and adversity that defines you and your character. My mom always tells my I'm stubborn and persistent and I guess that can be a good thing.
Taking moments to pause and reflect on the journey you have walked can help to put things into perspective. As I sit and reflect on the things that I am grateful for I sense a powerful shift from feeling defeated to feeling hopeful and optimistic at what's to come. I am thankful to be here on this earth, in this time and place and to be able to live the way I choose. I hope you feel the same way in your life and about the world.
Remember to take some time and space to make room for the things that are important to you. Whatever that may be. Take this time to rest, re-set and regenerate.
Take this time to focus on your passions, restoring your energy, creating love and reclaiming your calm.
Happy Thanksgiving!
