Nutrition for Fertility

Hi there!

It’s been a WHILE and I want to take a moment to re-introduce myself.

I’m Aida! I’m a Clinical Nutritionist. In my practice, I have primarily worked with adults who want to use nutrition to improve their gut health and metabolic dysfunction wich includes improving blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure.

BUT - I am taking on a new mission and new direction!

If you’ve been following me, you may have noticed my recent posts are not quite on beat with what I have shared in the past. For me, nutrition has always been a tool to maintain and optimize my health. I have been lucky enough to be disease free in my life and I use healthy balanced nutrition to keep it that way.

ANOTHER reason I am so passionate about nutrition and using quality whole foods in my diet is that I want to create the best possible foundation that I can for creating life. I’m not quite there yet - but pregnancy is a huge undertaking for a woman’s body. It requires so much care and attention, nutrients and fuel to create a whole new life. As each generation does, I want to pay it forward and ensure that my future children have the best possible start in life - and that begins long before conception.

So now, I am redirecting my focus and practice to work with women who are ready to start a family and want to improve their foundation for fertility through personalized nutrition therapy for a healthy pregnancy and developing baby.

Planning for a pregnancy should include more than figuring out the details of fincances, housing and which Ob/Gyn you are going to hire. Subfertility - often incorrectly labeled as infertility - affects about 20% of couples between the ages 30 to 40. Considering that egg and sperm quality are affected by nutrition, nutrient status and lifestyle, thinking about your nutrition well before conception is an important step in ensuring your and baby's health.

My approach to nutrition therapy includes creating a balanced diet plan that is personalized to your needs. This ensures that you are provided with all the nutrients and building blocks that you need to have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

If you want to learn more about how I work with clients and you want to get rid of the guesswork when it comes to finding the “right diet”, please book a free call to learn about what steps you can take.
