Nutritionist Approved Recipe: Berry Smoothie on The-Go

Looking for a healthy snack thats light and refreshing and easy to take on the go? Try out this Berry Smoothie!
Berry Smoothie Recipe:
1 cup of frozen berries
1/3 English cucumber
1/3 medium sized Avocado
2 handfuls of spinach or 1 handful of kale leaves
4-6 mint leaves
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon of flax seed meal
½ cup crushed ice
1.5 – 2 cups of water
Add all ingredients into a blender. Mix on high with pulses in between.
Slowly add water to soften mixtures consistency. Depending on amount
of water added, can yield 20-30 ounces of smoothie. You can keep half
of it in the fridge for a later time. Do not let sit for more than 24 hours.
Not only is this smoothie packed with flavor, it's also loaded with fiber,
vitamins, energy and healthy fat!
